MSC successfully finished a project in cooperation with a German sweets & beverage distributor. The project focused on three interrelated pillars: a competitive analysis, the establishment and improvement of an online presence across various channels, and the development of an actionable marketing strategy.
With the overall objective being to accelerate revenue growth, a team of four consultants first analyzed the current business strategy as well as those of competitors, paying special attention to online and social media channels. Through identifying best practices and suitable channels, a social media presence was initiated and a detailed guideline to support further post-project implementation was created. Additionally, the team took a closer look at sales figures to identify strong products and seasonal patterns, with the results serving as a basis for the overall marketing strategy.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the consultants were posed with the challenge to conduct internal meetings as well as communicating with the client entirely online. This “new way of working” was quickly adjusted to and the project could advance with the same attention to detail and excellence MSC has been delivering to clients in the past. The team was excited to complete the project and provide innovative yet implementable solutions that will elevate the client’s position within its market.
